Storage, downgrades, and deletion

Cancel a subscription

Billing & usage → Cancel subscription stops renewal. Paid access remains through the billing period, then your account returns to Free. Your account remains open.

Switch to a smaller plan

The new allowance applies when your plan change takes effect. If storage is over its limit, uploads and replacements pause. You can still review, download, or delete files.

Choose what stays

We email an exact deadline and give at least 30 days to download or delete unwanted videos. To keep particular videos, delete other content until usage fits. Upgrading to enough storage also stops cleanup. All retained versions and unfinished uploads count.

After the deadline

We send a reminder before cleanup. If storage remains over the limit, the oldest uploaded videos are permanently deleted, including all their versions, comments, descriptions, transcripts, headlines, and review history, until storage fits. Original upload date determines oldest, with a stable tie-breaker. Complete videos are removed, so storage may fall below the exact limit. The process runs automatically and may take multiple batches. Project counts alone do not cause automatic project deletion.

Delete the entire account

Account settings → Delete account requires typing DELETE in all caps and confirming. Active subscriptions are canceled immediately, shared links stop working, and the workspace and managed sign-in account are permanently removed. This does not delete your Google or ChatGPT account. No automatic refund is issued. Required payment records, minimal security safeguards, delivery records, and limited backups may remain under the Privacy Policy.
